GUIDED TOURS
Our guided tours include boat rental, life jackets, paddles, paddling instruction, and are accompanied by a professionally trained guide/naturalist who will share knowledge of the Cache River’s history, geology, wildlife, and ecology.
Nestled in the heart of southern Illinois, the Cache River is one of America’s northernmost Bald Cypress swamps. This bayou, or slow moving backwater area, sits on the boundary between the Midwest and the South. Because of this, the Cache River is a biodiversity hotspot in Illinois.
Tours are designed to cater to the needs and interests of our guests, ensuring a comfortable and leisurely pace. You’ll enjoy a 3 or 4.5-mile canoe trail loop through the Cache River bottomland swamp starting from our office at 240 Dean Lane, Ullin, IL 62922.
